Android Newbie Question

    Hi Guys,

I want to move into the android world (upgrade from an E63) but i'm not really sure as i have little or no 3G coverage at home with any network.
How much of a pain would a Desire be without 3G or can i just switch to WiFi when i get home and everything will work as normal?
Will some apps still try to connect through 3G or will everything work through WiFi once I turn it on?

Apologies if this is a stupid question but i really don't have a clue about this stuff...
