No surprise here but I was actually expecting one or two people to be scapegoated, as it is the ruling looks blatantly biased.

Will be curious about what happens when the UN looks at the two inquiries (also a Turkish one with unsurprisingly a very different verdict).
Is there anything the the UN can actually enforce? and any word on lawsuits?

Also its nice to see David Trimble destroying what reputation he has left.

No surprise here at all. Trimble has tarnished his reputation being involved in this obvious white wash.

No surprises at all. Disgraceful whitewash.

I am not sure why the Israeli government even bothered with this. No one except people who already support them, will believe this inquiry. To everyone else, they will rightly see it as being at best worthless.

Yes, it's a case of  allround.

As for Trimble, I doubt his fellow founder members of the "Friends Of Israel" initiative will be asking him to leave and close the door after him.......

Article says that an english version of the report is being released. Haven't seen it yet, anyone have a link?

Just like pretty much any other investigation of a middle-east incident, this commission is flawed in that members of the ' other' side refused to cooperate. I do await with some curiosity the un report. Still, it was promising of the turkel commission to suggest a re-evaluation of the land lockade.

    NTM
