I was thinking of getting my whv travel insurance with USIT. Are there better insurance products out there?

There are different companies you can try.

    One is http://www.backpackertravelinsurance.ie/
It's a different policy but good enough for most people.

The policies in different companies have all different prices and different terms so read the fine print in all of them to make sure it's covering what you want. All insurance is too expensive :D, it's normally when you need to claim something that people read the small print and it's too late then.

I got mine with backpackers travel insurance. Not great if your stuff is stolen cause there is a high excess. But the medical cover is like 4 million or somthing! I think USIT over charge to be honest

I don't mind paying extra as long as it is reasonable and reliable cover.

Don't get nothing with USIT or VisaFirst or any of them. Cut out the middle man and organise it yourself my friend.. They always ending up complicating these if things go wrong..

anyway try http://www.multitrip.com/ie/ they are reccommended in the news papers
