Never O'Connors biggest fan but I think he has it on Tubridy by a good bit

Definitely O'Connor - Tubridy is a plank. I couldnt believe when he was interviewing Benitio Del Toro and he was talking about his mother dying - Tubs asked him "How he felt about that", then last night some chap was saying how he has lost his jobs, loads of bills building up and guess what tubs asks - "How do you feel about it"??

No interviewing or personal skills at all??

I would say yes. Seems more natural at times, tubridy just seems to follow almost script like pre-prepared questions

Brendan O'Connor is much better, without a doubt. Tubridy is hopeless.

o connor comes across just so much better, also thurbdy give the impression the he things the is the bees knees, o connor can raise a laugh automaticly, the other guy is laboured, he trys to be flash but he is not.

well I should declare my credentials before we start (as an audience member would before contributing on the The Frontline), I like Brendan... didnt like him from the older days, but he asks the questions I find myself thinking "he'll hardly ask that will he" and then he just those...

I find Tubridy to be sychophantic, safe and having only a limited range of questions (lest something controversial or dangerous happen on the show)..

And remember people, Tubridy has had YEARS of experience on radio and television as an interviewer... O'Connor has only been a (periodic) presenter since last year..

I was never a huge O'Connor fan, but the few glimpses I've had of the Late Late Show since the dawn of the Tubrid-Era have left me with no doubt that I'd rather see almost anyone at the helm than the current presenter.

I remember Tubs being interviewed before he started the LLS.
He was saying that he wasn't going to be afraid to ask the hard questions, things that other hosts are afraid to ask and that no topic would be off limits with him :rolleyes: what a f*cking joke.

Not a big O'Connor fan but as an interviewer he beats Tubs hands down.

It's just a pity that Tubs gets to scrape the barrel first for guests, BOC is left with the dregs of the dregs

He's no worse than Tubridy but he's pretty stupid IMO. I'd also love to see how much money he made via his cheerleading during the property boom.
