Hey all, I'm currently doing a masters. I will be finished my exams in April, have a thesis to do for the next four months. I would be available for work during this period and I plan to search for a job. Although after the previous summer of not finding regular work i'm not too confident.

I'm currently a fully qualified civil engineer and to be honest don't think theres much hope of work in Ireland, this is why i'm doing a masters.

Anyhow i'm aware that it is possible to claim the jsa while finishing a thesis if you are available for work. Ideally i'd love to get some experience with an engineering company on a work placement programme.

My problem is that i'm living in campus accommodation so i'm wondering will this affect my application. I'm 22 and living away from home in Dublin.
