    Hi guys,
    There is a lot of speculation going around that Eircom plan to discontinue this service. With Vodafone and Eircom the only ones now providing this service , it would seem it is not a profitable service.
    This service is used by many alarm companies, anything official on this would be helpful.

    We are not aware of this service being discontinued,we have had no official word on this. I will try to get information on this

    I checked this with my colleagues in our landline product support area and they confirmed that there are no plans to retire the service for the forseeable future
