    Hi,
Thinking of buying a new set but not sure what to get. Want to spend < E500. My last set are cobra's and I like them but comuting quite a bit beteen uk and ireland so thinking of buying a second set. In the back of my head I have it that mizuno and ping are the best for irons but this could be a crock of...
I play regularly off 12. I went into a store today and saw loads of varieties of mizunos. I think the guy said the something 100's have been reduced in price as new model out. I know I need to try the clubs myself but would appreciate 2 or 3 suggestions for good quality clubs that may be last years models that I could assess myself.
    Cheers

you should def try and hit few sets before spending your money.mizuno mx200 would be worth a look at your level, also mayb titleist ap1 or ping g10.all last year models so should be reduced.if iron play is a strong point in your game then mizuno have few older forged models which are very playable and stunning clubs, the mp 58 and mp 52.the latter being 2years old but super set, titleist ap2 also worth a hit.really is so much to try niall so happy shopping

Buy another set the same as the ones you have now, you won't have to break them in , you'll have confidence with them from the get go.
If you just want new clubs, well that's down to personal taste, try them both out ,both the brand names you mentioned are top quality clubs.

if you could stretch your budget a bit(a lot) check out the new ping anser forged irons, tried out 1 today on the course, could only get the 7 iron,i can safely say i have hit all the best irons out there( i use MP57)but these are something special,if you have a couple of hybrids like me these irons can be bought seperately for about €130 each so you may only need 6 or 7

if you can try them out do,the shaft alone in the one i hit sells for about 100 dollars, compare that to the stock shaft in a lot of so called good clubs that sell for around 10 dollars you can see why they're so expensive
