I've just handed in my glasses to specsavers to have new lenses fitted. It will take a week to get them replaced which leaves me with a pair of perscription sunglassses to wear. So...

Will it damage my eyesight to wear sunglasses at night?

I like going to the cinema, should I just take the sunglasses off before watching the movie? I'm guessing you won't see a think with them on anyway?

Rx Sunglasses wont cause any damage to wear your sunglasses, but they shouldn't be worn when driving if its night.

As for the cinema it depends how your vision is without your glasses. Try with them on and without them on and see which is better.

I can barely see two foot in front of me before things start to blur. I tried them on last night while watching a film and it seemed fine. No eye strain, which was what I was worried about. Thanks :)
