    Hi,

I am on a satellite broadband service from Satellite broadband ireland, via tooway. This service is supplied as part of the NBS. Does anyone know if the service will be upgraded to use KA-SAT when it becomes operational? Is new hardware required?

Also can anyone recommend a data monitor for ubuntu or a torrent client with built in scheduling and bandwidth control.

I download the odd series and keep getting throttled by their FAP.

The satellite is at a different position. It may or may not work with existing Dish. The ODU and Modem should be fine. There would likely be a charge to get changed over to new service, which is likely not available till end may/start of June.

There are probably monitoring tools already on your Unbutu and GUI interfaces for them in your package manager (the older style one in System not the new fancy one on main application menu).
