I have a landrover freelander 2000 1.8 petrol , it is running great but i've one problem when i turn it off it won't start for at least 1 hour, I have brought this car to different garages who have all plugged in the computer but no fault comes up on the computers, I have the fuel pump changed thinking that was the problem but the problem still happens.

I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me as i'm at my wits end , I looked up the problem on google and the answers i got were that the camshaft sensor was gone but I rang landrover service support and the guy I spoke to said there wasnt one in my car, but its gas as the parts department told me they could order me one in.

any ideas what could be wrong?

    thanks:)

Going by the fact that the problem isn't showing on the diagnostic computer my first guess would be an ECU fault.
If your near Dublin bring it into me on Sunday or Monday and I'll see if we can diagnose the problem.
