What's your favourite keyboard your use?

Mine used to be Smart Keyboard Pro, but it seems to get utter sh1te.

I downloaded the English dictionary etc. for it but it seems like it just doesn't want to work properly for me. I also remember you could press the word on the top it the bar to add your own word to the dictionary. That doesn't seem to be there for me anymore. :eek:

For exanple, the dumb keyboard pro changes "for" to "forgot". It's really annoying. Anybody know how to fix this little problem it suggestions for a new keyboard? Preferably one that has colons : etc. as buttons you can long tap to type one instead it having to go in to a seperate little keyboard full of icons.

I'm sure there's evidence in that post that proves how bad the keyboard is.

Its down to Swype for portrait and gingerbread for landscape for me

Think so? I'm not a big fan of portrait so I never use it and o hate how small the keys are on the gingerbread one. Too small and too wide for me.

I love the swype keyboard.

Its a bit annoying after restarting the phone that I have to change the input method to get swype working again even though the swype keyboard is still there.

I cant wait for it to come out of Beta and to work 100%.

I always use the keyboard in portrait mode. Its perfect for swype on the desire hd

I find it very tedious to use Swype. I have it on my phone, just can't really use it. Not a screen thing as I have a HD2 running Android. The Swype keyboard when not swiping is actually fairly good.

Really? I don't have that issue.

I find the newest version of swype to be a huge improvement. It's a lot more accurate than before. And smaller.

I'm using the gingerbread one, not sure why but i seem to get the right buttons better on it.

Love the Gingerbread keyborad couldn't get used to the alternative input ones, like Swype, maybe if I had stuck at it. . . .

Was using the the stock keyboard with a 2.2 desire and was happy enough with it but decided to try swype just to see what the fuss was about. Love it, would never go back to the stock keyboard now.

I have three installed and here's my preference order:

1. Gingerbread
2. Swype
3. Swift

SwiftKey by far the best of the lot. Tried them all and trying a VIP beta of SwiftKey right now. It's great and has some nice new skins now aswell
