    Hi Folks

I was looking for some help with my radiator. It is not heating up. Ive tried bleeding the radiator but only water comes flying out. Anyone know what is wrong?

Do I need to get a plumber in.

    Thanks for any advice.

are both the valves open fully?

is there a thermostat on it? if so remove the head and push the pin in and out a few times

if none of the above, then try turning off 2 or 3 rads close to it and see if it heats

    no thermostat.

    both valves are open.

have turned other rads off and it is starting to heat up, thanks.

will it stop heating when i turn other rads back on?

possibly, try it tho, it might have shifted the air or blockage. your system might need balanced, read a post by pete67 about how to balance a system properly. otherwise the pump needs changed

    thanks sparkpea

i have turned other rads on and my rad is still heating but it is not heating fully like when i had other rads off.

has this got anything to do with balancing?

Agree with Sparkpea. Either try balancing it yourself, or call a plumber as it could well be the pump.
