    Friends.

I have a radiator where the bleed valve nut has ceased and rounded over. I tried putting a bleed key on it and then using a vice grips to turn the key and that's how I rounded it.

I am a tennant and cant go taking the central heating system asunder. The bleed valve is harfd to get at as its facing the wall with about an inch and half clearance.

Is there a simple way to sort this? Any tips or tricks as to how to get this nut open / off ?

    Many thanks

No. You'll more than likely need to get a new valve tapped into the rad. This should be the landlords issue tho.

Is that much of a job, could I do it myself?
