I watched a bit of an episode on 3e last night. It was like a murder mystery or something but I was surprised by how computerised the whole thing looked. How long has Family Guy looked like this?

From what I remember it's always been made through computerised drawing and it regularly uses 3D animation in set pieces. It lost me years ago, though.

I think that episode was the first to be broadcast in HD so they were showing off a little with it. I watched it in HD and personally found it stunning to look at..the content of the episode on the other hand not so much

I thought episode 8(or was it 9) of the latest season was hilarious. Peter's reaction after taking Red Bull was so funny.

I only laughed at "official Flower business"

I know that but it all seemed to be completely over the top on this episode.

Could it be to do with the move to HD?
