Plus Size Ball Gown?

    Hi guys

    Am going to a ball soon and was looking for a nice size 22 gown. Anyone know where I can get a nice one in the Dublin area?

    just had a look online but they dont do over a size 18. and i dont think evans do ball gowns.. anyone know if debenhams do plus size?

    Hiya, Yep Monsoon have lovely dresses, but I find I cant get any dresses or tops there as I find them quiet top on the boob part, now that just might me, and I might be bigger than average on top, im not sure, but Im a size 22 and dresses fit perfectly in length and waist, just not boobs.

    Do try Evans as the previous poster said, I bought a dress there for a formal occasion a couple of months ago, had a few nice ones there and accessories as well, which is always handy :):)

    Ive heard a lot of good things about littlewoods as well so might be worth having a look there. Also, have you considered nice dressy trousers and top instead of a dress? Ive seen this at a couple of occasions lately so might be worth a look.

    Do you mean Monsoon?? The one in Galway def does dresses up to size 22 anyway, not sure about others though. Evens do long, formal dresses, maybe not the smaller outlets, but the one in Henry st dublin does, or at least used to!

    Debenhams have a collection that goes to size 22, has forgotten about it till you mentioned it, sorry! Not sure of the name of the collection but they do formal dresses alright.

    Im nearly sure Debenhams do up to that size - they def do a 20 - you could check online at their website.

    I have gone from a size 24 to 18 and whan I was larger Simply be was a life saver for formal dresses. Have a look, they have some really nice ones.

    Debenhams do go up to that size, and they tend to be a decent cut too.
