    I find that oil absorbing sheets are great to use throughout the day, they don't mess up your makeup either. Something like these:

    I'd recommend adding some juice of a lemon to whatever you cleanse your face with or maybe lemon slices as it's good for cutting through grease.

    plus it's natural & much cheaper than expensive products.

    also if you are using a face wash - make sure it's a gel type not a cream one.

    Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser is great. Also, if it's just throughout the day that you want to matte your skin, I read recently that a wipe of milk of magnesia cuts thorugh facial oil and totally mattifies the skin!

    You could use a slice of lemon, splash your face with warm water(opens up the pores) - then rub the lemon all over face, leave for half a minute, wash it off - and make sure to splash your face after with cold water to close pores.
