Good value greenfees

    is there good value greenfees to be had around galway, mayo and clare? have clubs reduced their greenfees significantly during the last few years due to the recession? which clubs offer the best value at the moment?

    Dont know about Mayo but i think Dromoland do deals on a sunday €35. not sure if they are still doing it. Oranmore is well worth a visit. €20 or €25 http://www.galwaybaygolfresort.com/. Played Ennis in dec for €20 on a sat . Portumna is well worth a treck €30-€35 at weekend . give them a call

    yeah played oranmore in september for 25 euro, great course. was in oughterard last week, great value there too, all day brekkie and golf for only 22 euro.more clubs should be doing these deals as they will get in the bargain hunting golfers like myself!!!!!
