Paper is a commodity and always has been.

Your question might as well be "petrol is expensive at the moment, anyone know a cheap garage?"

If your finding stock expensive for this sector - your best bet could be joining a
    buying consortium. Good Luck.

or shop around, if you buy in bulk or with other office supplies you should be able to reduce the costs

+1. Last time I looked at the price of copier paper / paper for the computer printer, Tesco were much cheaper ( for 500 sheets A4 ) than the local "office supplies" shop. I have no connection to Tesco, just a satisfied customer for their ownbrand paper etc , office supplies stuff.
I would say office supply shops are finding it very difficult to compete with the likes of Tesco, Viking direct, the internet like ebay for inks etc.

every one thinks viking direct are cheap cause they advertise one or two items cheap or with a free gift but they are anything but cheap some of there prices are mental and u can bargain with ur local supplier

Was seriously looking at setting up in competition to Viking and you can buy in bulk and sell for far less than them, just search around
