hopefully in right forum, but just wondering, i am with the same company for the past 18 years, 5 years ago the company became a ltd. co. staff were not informed of any changes as it was just a management decision. went on line with revenue today to check my details and it says i'm with my employer since 2005 not 1992! my question is if the company closes (and that is quite likely) am i eligible for redundancy based on my being employed from 1991 or the date revenue has 2005? obviously this would be a disaster for me so hoping its 1991. thanks in advance for any replies

Tricky one but lenght of service is key to determining redundancy. Many business change status for various reasons but its my sense that regardless of change of status, your Tenure at the business/company will not be affected. I presume your somewhat concerned about the stability of the business and perhaps professional advice might be advisable. Perhaps others can point you in the right direction!
