We are renovating an old stone tannery, part of the building was used as a home and has been left vacant for 5 years (not in a good state) part was, roofless and in a bad way the the other is an extension incorporating a single story stable. Most of the actually build is complete we are just contracting the builder to finish the inside, which is pretty poor. I'm just wondering if anyone reading this has under gone a similar project and has any words of wisdom, what they would of done differently particularly concerning the heating / insulation / wall (old thick walls, which I don't want to dry line). We also have old inch flags going down on floors, has anyone put under floor heating with these? Sorry so many question but in for penny! many thanks

A job in Roscommon. I cannot name the system but it would be well worth you seeing it. It is not drylined. Phone me and i will give you the address. <snip>. The job is nearly finished but if you saw it before everything was covered up with skirtings etc you would know if would work in your build.

If you want to give someone your mobile number PM it to them, please don't put it on a post.
