I was watching the news years ago...and there was a clip about the opening up of government archives to the public. This clip featured a person holding a file of portrait pictures of state cars and TDs cars featured, one was an austin a30 4door and the other was a Daimler or lancaster? Does anyone know anything about this? It would be interested to see what cars were owned by the State at the time.....

I know a man who is restoring an official Irish Stare registered Merc sedan from the 50's. The National archive were of very limited use to him in assisting him gain some history on the car.
