The lock/sleep button on my iPhone 4 ain't working anymore (seems to be loose and too far down now - haven't dropped it). How long am I likely to be without my baby?

They told me over the phone that it can take up to 10 working days. I'll be lost (probably literally) without!

I really should know this cause I sent one before but I can't remember. What I do remember though...I was very impressed with the speed of the whole thing, so it shouldn't be too long

Do you not get the option to pay €29 and they send a replacement first? I need to get mine sent off for a few issues (silent button not working, wifi and Bluetooth signal are poor too - any ideas?) and was hoping I could go with getting a replacement as it's still under warranty.

I didn't see that option anywhere

If you don't have the AppleCare plan, you can opt to pay €29 for an advance replacement, which they will send out to you that day. However you must also allow Apple to pre-auth your credit or laser card for the cost of the phone until they receive your old phone and establish that it is a hardware fault. I would have chosen that option but I'm pretty sure my Student Credit Card limit wouldn't have covered it.
