Parcel Delivery failure

    Hi all,

    I ordered something from pixmania.co.uk on January 3rd. I chose "fast delivery" (2/3 days).

    it is now the evening of the 18th January and I still have not received the parcel.

    I've been in contact with Pixmania since jan 11th about the delay, asking what was going on and why it was taking so long. They said the parcel had been lost in transit, but they could not send me another package or give me a refund until Bpost had concluded their investigation (should be complete on the 27th).

    According to the track and trace, the parcel is being returned to sender as of January 17th. "Was out for delivery attempt today - Other".

    No "we tried to deliver" card was left in my post box. No phone call was ever made. (housemates phone). No evidence of any attempt to actually deliver the parcel is apparant!

    My question, what on earth am I supposed to do? Its a mobile phone that I ordered, and im completley unreachable as a result!

    Can I demand a refund and just go get a new phone on the high street? Any advice?
