Hiya

My Dad's friend has recently acquired a 03 Fiat Ducato van. It hasn't been driven in a year and the main key with the central locking controls doesn't work. He doesn't have a spare. So he took it to a Fiat dealership in Cork to see about getting the key reprogrammed or a replacement key and the upshot is they want €300 for a new key. Does this sound right? Is there anywhere else in Cork that could sort out a key for him or is the dealership the only option?
