WeightLoss Classes

    Looking to lose about a stone / stone and half. Find it hard kepping motivated in gym by myself so looking at different group classes.

    Just wondering what exercises etc.. Weight loss classes would generally consist of and are they any good??

    Examples are the Weight Loss and Burn Fat classes in Westwood Gym tues and weds.

    spinning is excellent try a beginners one first and see how ya get on.
    it's a great class to get you in a sweat but take it easy at first, classes range from a half hour to one hour.

    thanks, i do spinning already which i enjoy.
    Want to do try different classes as well so i dont get bored of spinning,
    was thinking those classes would help me lose weight more quickly.

    Ive gone though all the stickies and other info on this forum and used the info
    to change my diet so i dont think im too bad on that regard.

    Are you just looking for classes specific to Westwood gym?

    The body pump and burn fat tone up classes are good, boxercise is also good. I see they have kettlebells as well, savage workout to tone up and lose fat.

    If you are looking outside of westwood have a look at www.crossfit.ie as well if you are in Westwood Leopardstown, they are only around the corner.

    Most of the classes in the gym, bar the Pilates/Yoga will burn a lot of fat if you really push yourself in them.
