Windscreen repairs

    This morning I got the windscreen on my car repaired by a certain glass company and its a great job.

    But curious about what they actually do as I didn't wait around and watch the job being done? Do they use some sort of heater or light to harden the fix?

    Perhaps he bumped into it when wiping the screen after repair?
