Advice on finishing apprenticeship

    My friend has 6 month's work to complete for phase 7 before she gets her apprenticeship as a painter. But she can't find work anywhere. Her old boss said he'd sign her up and say she's working for him while she's actually on the dole. Does anyone know if Fás will check if she's been on the dole and find out she hasn't been working?
