    conas tá sibh, I was just out again tonight stargazing when I remembered the recent BBC series "Stargazing" I only caught the last episode unfortunately but I remember Dara Ó Briain sayin on it that you can book "some time" on a telescope (one of the big ones) on the internet and get a picture from it anywhere in space (obviously within the telescopes limits) thing is I cant remember the site/name of the telescope, anyone have any ideas ?

    I didn't see the programme unfortunately.

    If you search for SLOOH, New Mexico Skies, Tenagra or Global Rent-a-Scope one of those might be what you're looking for.

    looked into this recently.
    AFAIK to book the scope dara used you need to be part of a group or be involved with a school or something.

    Have the address on my laptop, on phone now so will post later.

    It was probably the Faulkes Telescope - open to schools but they *may* offer to a society/club.

    thats the very same, if you look bottom right you can see the latest news mentioning stargazing LIVE.
