    HI folks

    As the title says.

I'm running Windows 7 on a Sony VAIO laptop. When I go into device manager nothing with the exclamation mark icon appears. It says drivers are up to date. I'm connected via cable to the my router at the moment.

The start button and task bar is gone back to basic colours
The little box that appears to turn on the wireless at startup isnt there (i've enabled everything at msconfig>>startup).
The volume has a red x beside it, and when i click on it "Playing Audio, detecting problems" Page comes up

This all started after I went home the weekend and installed a vodafone mobile usb internet device :(

    Any help greatly appreciated
