You could try your local vicon dealer as they would be able to supply them from stock. I dont think there would be many suppliers of generic extensions out there. If you are having trouble finding a supplier send me a pm and i can find your nearest dealer

Throw a couple of extra bags on top and bring a knife. Nearly the same thing as the extension

or alternatively... put a ball hitch on the back of the spreaded,( there are two plates with holes on them for this), tow a small trailer out with you and load up out on the field.

oh I often do the few bags on top with a knife.. Thing is with fertilizer prices the way there going Id like to start getting half tonne bags as much as possible so at the moment it can take about 450kgs, just need another little bit.

And thanks 5live, was talking to a man today and he knows where I might get them so hopefully i'll get sorted..

Is there much of a difference in price/tonne babybrian between buying in half tonne bags as oppposed to 50kg ones? I know it probably varies depending on the type your spreading.

there is a small difference but its for handiness sake too, id rather have hydraulics(loader) do the handling than my back...nothing simple about 50kg bags!!

Anybody know where I might get my hands on an extension for the top of a vicon similar to the one in the photo?
