theory test

    im doing the theory test in the next week and was wondering do many people fail??and is the cd the best thing to get some practice rather than reading a book

    Not sure about the failure rate. But with regards to the book/cd, I'd get the cd.

    Just keep doing the practise test over and over and over again (at least 30 - 40 times) as it's exactly what you'll get on the actual Theory one. Best of luck.

    Just remember to read the questions properly, and then read again, because there are trick questions which require a specific answer.

    Many good points made be other posters, regarding the choice being yours, cd being more like the actual test and reading the questions.
    There is only one pass rate that matters...yours. Ignore stories of how other passed or failed. You can also get an easy or hard set of questions on the day. Study well and best of luck.

    if i pass (hopefully) do i need to get forms from guarda station to apply for licence i know i need eye test and two passport photos

    It's at least 2 weeks. Got mine after 2 and a half but they said in the Test Centre at least 2.

    I got my permit there and then in the motor tax office in person,best of luck!

    yeh i passed it and applied straight away so presume il av it next week
