    Hi all. I have an interview on wednesday for a clamping company. Has anyone here worked for a clamping company before and if so, what is the rate of pay for a person starting out? (And do people really start hating you?????) lol. Thanks in advance.;)

    Go for it! I don't especially like the Clampers but in this day and age it's a Job that pays the bills and puts food on the table.

    Just be prepared to take a lot of Sh*t from the public though :rolleyes:

    AFAIK it's a mainly commission based job... Not sure if you have to cover the cost of any clamps which "disappear" from your own pocket or not. And I'm guessing that a lot of them go missing!

    i actually work for one, people do hate you ALOT, no matter how bad the people park, or how much they didnt pay for a ticket you are always the one who is in the wrong.

    it can be boring sometimes if you work on your own too, but you also have the peace and quiet and not have to deal with co workers you dont like.
