Vibration when braking

    As the title says, any time I brake I can feel a kind of tapping through the pedal. Do my brake pads need replacing, the car flew through the nct a couple of months back?

    If its more noticable when driving slow i'd say a warped disc or worn track rod.Best bring it to a mechanic to take a look at it.......

    Maybe its something as simple as your car having ABS Brakes and you werent aware to this? ABS Brakes, when pressed hard sometimes generate this tap/thump sensation on the pedal - Thats how i had my problem diagnosed

    Warped or worn discs. Simple and relatively cheap job for your local independent. Had the same issue with my previous car. Got the discs and pads from irish auto parts online....good prices and fast dellivery

    Do you drive the car much? If not just do a bit of left foot braking and put a bit of heat into them. It could be just a rust build up on them.
