We've been receiving mortgage interest relief for our mortage via Tax Relief at Source (TRS). We also have a loan for home improvement and I know we didn't claim the maximum available relief with our mortgage (in 2009). We've been receiving mortgage interest relief for our mortage via Tax Relief at Source (TRS). We also have a loan for home improvement and I know we didn't claim the maximum available relief with our mortgage (in 2009). So would like to claim interest relief for the home improvement loan as well. It doesn't seem to be possible through PAYE anytime (says TRS claimed, which is mortgage only). Any idea how?
