Foot injury

Hello I hope this is the right place to put this thread.

I injured my foot very badly from a nasty fall, I had lots of soft tissue damage and bone bruising and I fractured the navicular bone which was only noticed 2 weeks after I had the cast taken off and had an MRI scan done. It is now 4 months later and after several trips back and forth to the hospital I am still finding it sore to walk on and I still need to use the 1 crutch if I know that I am going to be walking far. I have been told that this sort of injury can take a very long time to heal as there is a very poor blood supply to that particular bone. I have been getting a lot of physio treatment as well.

I just wanted to post this thread to see if anyone else has ever experienced this sort of injury and how long it took to heal and what sort of pain and other sypmtoms did you have. I am also wondering how long it takes until you can return to doing normal physical activities again as my favourite hobby is dancing. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated.
