Does anyone know if there is a button or app that let's you search a page for certain words like the f3 button on a normal computer? It would be handy

I presume you mean when using a browser. I'm not sure for Safari, but some of the other iPhone browsers have an in page search. Mercury, iCabMobile and iBrowser all do. Mercury'd be my choice.

In iOS 4.2 you can search a web page in Safari by typing the word into the Google search field. Then scroll to the end of the suggested searches and tap on "On This Page".

Thanks. I tested it on ibrowser. Will try mercury next. Works perfect.
Can't upgrade to 4.2 so I'll stick with this.
