Me and around 15 of my friends are heading to galway 2nd weekend in febuary for the weekend for my friends 18th. We are wanting to go somewhere nice to eat (normal food, not asian or anything). Bear in mind, we are 18/19 and not made of money. Around €35 pp for a 3 course meal is what we're hoping for! Any suggestions welcome please :)

Any of the hotels should be able to cater for that easily.

Try Fat Freddy's in Quay Street, http://www.galwayrestaurants.net/ its right next door to the Quay's Pub. A good place to stay would be the Pillo Hotel they have a special for Jan/Feb rooms from €59 http://www.pillohotelgalway.com - Have Fun!!!

buskers/kirbys do a great deal 2 courses for €25 with a drink of your choice.
its a relatively popular spot, both the restaraunt and the bar itself.

A bunch of us went to Mustard in the Bridge Mills recently. Very tasty and and no issue with a large group (we made a reservation). Not exactly fine dining but more gourmet pizza /burger joint. No complaints from a very hungry bunch. Averaged €20 per head.

You could try Milano's. They're Italian. Nice pizza, pasta, etc. I'd say you could manage 3 courses for about that and they'll be able to cater for a large group because I've gone there myself with similar numbers.

If you do go for Milanos you should check http://www.milanooffers.ie/ closer to the time as they tend to have some type of offer on, but it varies. Right now it's for half price main courses but that's ending today so of no use.

Cactus Jacks does three courses & a glass of wine for 20 euro, Mon-Sat 4-7pm & all day Sunday. Have been a few times...you will be stuffed and its gorgeous food. If tex mex is your thing, I'd definitely recommend it........
