    Just heard that the €50 import duty is being done away with and a new €200 rate introduced on all vans,trucks and tractors

    oh so true then,
    i got a letter friday in the post from the revenue stating i have to vrt the tractor as on english plates, seems i could have to pay the€200,

    In fairness the 200 euro was always way too cheap.
    I've imported several commercials and paid the 50.
