    what colour is your hair

if it's fair i'd suggest pink or goldy/brown otherwise just the brown

I find that smokey eyes in a dark grey/silver works, a nice whiteish eyeshadow at the tear duct makes my eyes pop! Lashings of mascara and a little bit of liquid eyeliner makes your lashes look really thick! :)

I don't mean gold-gold, more like http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wmaYDsHuOQI/SJ3s1n-D9aI/AAAAAAAACMI/LIkFYjtX28w/s400/Versace+(2).jpg or a bronze kind of colour

Gold, copper, vibrant greens, deep purples would look nice. Pink would work. Just be careful if you already have a look of pink tones in your skin colouring. Can make it worse!

    How about something like this:

Like Larianne said, bronzes are beautiful with blue eyes. It's because orange is a contrasting colour to blue so it really brings out the colour. Anything with an orange or rust undertone will have this effect so you could also choose a rusty brown or a gold.

+1 for the gold, I have dark blue eyes and whenever I wear gold eyeshadow I always get compliments, I love it! What I would suggest though would be putting the gold on the inner two thirds of the eye and perhaps a shimmery brown on the outer third and crease and blending the two together - I find it gives a softer, more natural look and really brings out blue eyes :) failing that I usually use shimmery greys or browns, also I've found dark purple (almost a burgundy) looks lovely too.
