try to login then redirected

    Hi
    when trying to login to Facebook on the home PC you are immediately redirected to a different site(ask jeeves) and cannot get to the login page. Only happening with Facebook ,
    Anybody got any ideas .
    Its driving the wife nuts, she has to wait for me to come home with the laptop to get on Facebook hehe

    What version of Windows & what browser are you using on the PC?

    can't remember will have to check when i get home
    it's a few years old though
    some told me to clear the cache
    how do you do that

    That would depend on the browser you're using. If Internet Explorer than Tools > Internet Oprions > Delete Browsing History. Probably best to just post again when you're at home.

    it is internet explorer just can't remember what version
    only started happening a few days ago
    have done an anti virus scan and nothong showed up there

    got home and deleted browser history and now it is back working
