In no rush if it sells it sells first with 300 and its there's.the stand also has a leg rest which is not in the photos its an extra which is a fold out extension on the bottom platform giving you more leg room for comfort.also a tree hanger which is basically a hook that screws into the tree for hanging your rucksack etc.the seat is lovely and comfortable. the seat is one of the best on the market used big time in the states and would cost over 600 to buy duty and get shipped here.takes less than five minutes to set up and in position.

i have one tree where its safe to do the same and am planning on doing the same this year. are you going to buid a wooden one or make up your own metal ones.

going to use treated wood and ply wood and use trees that are already there, going to get a few lengths of round timber from the coilte lads they are felling down the road from it, had a talk with them they said they would sort something for me,going to drill and bolt most of it and use the paslode on some of it.want to build something that will last for years.

I'm looking to build six or so stands in the off season too. Hopefully with recycled materials or some cheap way, don't want to spend a fortune and have them vandalised. I'm not going to have a large base, just a lean too thats strapped to a tree I think.

going to get them up asap get the deer used to them off season

the tree that i am going to use that gives me the best advantage point is a 30 year old pine that is overlooking a clearfell and some lush green feilds , that is on a exposed windswept site , so there would be some sort of movement to the tree.
what i am thinking about is a permement stucture attached to the tree and the ladder chained to the base of the tree so it only need to be unlocked and attached to give you access.
