Home hair colouring twice in a week?

I used the L'Oreal creme colour 2 days ago and it came out too dark. Would it be ok to use another lighter one tomorrow? Also has anyone any suggestions for a nice warm chestnut brown?? Thanks in advance

Putting a lighter colour over a dark one won't lighten your hair. Only bleach can do that and I wouldn't recommend it! You'll either have to get it fixed in the hairdressers or wait for it to fade. Using head and shoulders shampoo will fade your colour quicker. There's a product in boots that is supposed to reverse the colour you put in but I've never used it so can't say whether or not it works. It's with the hair dyes and should have some reviews on the website.
