I love using almond butter in cookie recipies. Does anyone know if it is unhealthy to heat nut butters are the oils turned to trans fats and are the vitamins still absorbed the same if you had it raw?

I might be wrong but I think in most cases cooking does diminish nutrients in return for making the food more palatable and easier to digest. Not something to get hugely worried about I would think.

yeah agree with Macha - cookies are a treat so no real need to be concerned about vitamins
