Relationships?

I am 17 years old. I came out as a lesbian a few months ago but have known since i was around 14/15. One of my best guy friends came out around the same time. All my friends have been great and supportive even the girls. I have never been happier in my whole life then i am now. Now that im comfortable with myself i want to be in a relationship. Only problem is i dont know how! Plus i have the added fact that my gay friend is 18 in two months and can go to gay bars where as i cant. How do i meet other lesbians and even form friendships. Id like to have more gay friends

Belongto is the obvious answer, but there are very few girls there. There is the girl version on a weekday or something. As far as I can tell, there are about six lesbians under the age of 18 in the entire country :P

Here are all the groups, depending on what part of the country you're in. Yeah I'm in the same position, I know a grand total of 2 lesbians, who I barely speak to. Other than that there are a few girls in my school who might be gay, but might also just like sport.:o

True, all my gay friends are guys and i have one girl friend thats bi. Im in Galway so hopeful that might have a slight advantage as its a big enough city. It actually sucks! I want to go out and meet new people. If only i knew more lesbians in Galway :P

I'm not a member of this group but I've heard good things, including that it's a good place to meet LGBT people outside of the club scene.
