Pros- Very light + comfortable to hold. You can get a hand grip (MVG) as well as rails for it if you wanted to hang a laser or flashlight off it.
If your AEG is front wired it's very handy to have this handguard.

Con- hmm...the only top I can think off is if your gun was rear-heavy then with the handguard you'll be off-balance even more..
