Hello, I am a mature student looking to get back into studying and I was researching nursing as one of my options. I really love biology and have always been very good at it. I hold an honor's degree in Exercise and Health Studies but that degree hasn't done much for me.
What I wanted to know is do you have to be of a certain personality type to do nursing? Ill be quite honest I am the kind of person who likes to help people but I would be squmish with dealing with unpleasentaries such as vomit and the sort. I do believe however that you get used to that kind of thing.
I would like to talk to some current nurses or indeed student nurses and hear your opinions on the matter?
