    Hi,

This is probably very trivial in comparisson to most issues, but if it's bothering me it's an issue right.

I received a beautiful gold watch and gold chain for 2 significant birthdays from relations I love dearly.

The thing is they've sat in my drawer for years. They are really nice and I appreciate them. But, do you think it would be a horrible thing to do to sell them, unethical like or just really selfish?

It's a shame for them to be sitting in my drawer but I think i'll feel awful if I sell them.

Is there any reason you do not wear them?

I don't think it be selfish to sell them, they were given to you, it's up to you want you wanna do with it. Another thing you could do is pass them on to someone else and make them happy with it.

I'm just not really a gold person, I prefer silver.

If you don't wear them anyway any insult has already been given (although only really over sensitive gift givers would react that way). Its not like they'd find out so sell them.
