    Looking into buying a Power Box and spotted this.

    First time i have seen one but looks ideal for a tight yard i have trouble cleaning out ! Any idea of cost ?

    They're a good job handling stone. I've use one for chipping water main pipes and general movement of stone with a tractor. But in saying that, the hydraulic box is just as good IMO. The power scoop has a very round floor towards the front, whereas the box has a mostly flat floor making the box more useful for general carrying around the farm than the power scoop. Its personal preference I suppose. A more durable solution would be a front bucket off a digger, weld on shackles for the lift and toplink linkages and use a hydraulic toplink. It would definitely be much cheaper and far tougher!!

    Id be inclined to agree, while im sure it would be a great job for cleaning sheds etc its uses would ne more limited than a p/box. The bucket is a good idea but it would be heavy,would it not,and the range of tipping would be more limited!
