Hi, im just wondering if anyone can help with this problem. I recently bought a vectra with built in bluetooth. I previously had a nokia phone which worked fine, the problem is i also bought a smartfone (samsung galaxy s) which now when i connect it up to blutooth connects for ten seconds and then loses connectivity.

The car is an import from north ireland ( vauxhall)

    Could anyone help

Is it factory installed Bluetooth or is it a Nokia bluetooth kit? I had a Nokia bluetooth kit that would only work with Nokias. Anything else would connect for a few seconds and then disconnect. I had to replace it with a Parrot kit when I moved away from Nokia phones.

If it's factory, bring it to an Opel garage and see if there's a software update for it. Often the software updates are months, if not years, behind the release of new phones.

If it's retrofit, get it replaced with a newer kit that supports the Galaxy S.
