Is it worth getting Little Big Planet GOTY Ed?

i was wondering if anyone could help me out here... So I'm a new PS3 owner and am looking at getting my grubby little paws on a copy of Little Big Planet. We already have an xbox360 and platformers (well, Ratchet and Clank) were the main reason we got the ps3.

Now I've looked it up and it seems that there's quite a bit of extra downloadable content for the game. So I was wondering if it might be a better move to get the game of the year edition? I know it probably won't include all the DLC but would it include enough to make it worth getting?

Basically I've priced the regular edition at €10 pre-owned or GOTY ed for £22.99 from Amazon but will take 3 months to ship but tbh I don't especially mind the wait.

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

If they are saying delivery is 1-3 months it means they don't have it...

You can get it from VGA+ for about €20 including delivery.
I (and other boardsies) have used them before and they are quick.

Only dlc that matters on the goty edition is the mgs stuff. Not sure how much it is but I think you could get lbp and download the mgs add on for less than your currently getting the goty for.

So my suggestion buy lbp for €10 and buy the mgs dlc.

What is the MGS DLC? As a massive MGS fan who owns but has barely played LBP, this intrigues me...!

I have LBP (amongst others) for trade/swap if you're interested?

There's a demo of LBP2 up on PSN as well which you might like to check out.

I know, but I'd like to try the first one before I get the new one.

Sorry for the noob question but are PS3 Games not region locked then?

No, like the psp games are not region locked, a great decision from sony.

However blu ray movies are still region locked.

Important to note that not all bluray movies are region locked.
